1930s, Art Deco, Cornflower Blue Stretch Dress With Pointed Collar - Extra Small
Amazing Art Deco dress in an interesting stretch acetate fabric, so comfortable and practical to wear.
Lower-calf length, cornflower blue dress has a fabulous pointed collar at front and back trimmed with the original clear glass buttons. Collar and shaped sleeve edging have a contrast loopy trim. The dress is straight to below the hips where the skirt flares out from an interesting zig zag shaped seam. The matching belt has a fabulous Deco buckle of diamantes with blue celluloid or bakelite edges. There are no closures, it just pulls on. No labels, it's a custom made dress - early 1930s.

Fair. There is an all over pinky marbling due to the natural aging of the fabric dye, you can see this best in the photo of the skirt. Also, a few small holes, mostly in the skirt but also a couple in the back of the collar. One of the stones is missing from the buckle.
