Floral Cotton Day Dress With Puffed Sleeves - 1930s - Bust 86 cm
This sweet little cotton day dress is a stylised floral print of red, blue and yellow on a background of what was once white but has aged to a pale ecru. The puffed sleeves are fitted at the upper arm and have a little pocket that tucks in to give the sleeves oomph. The high square neck and the sleeves are finished with a navy blue pleated trim. The bodice is pleated into a midriff panel, and the skirt flares from a panel around the hips. Closes at the side with a metal zipper. Below knee length. There are no tags, likely homemade - late 1930s.

A few flaws, but overall, good. There is a patch on one shoulder and stitched reinforcement of the other shoulder seam. A few small marks on the skirt are hidden by the busy pattern. There are two small patched holes in the skirt and one small hole left as is, see photos. The blue trim is a little faded.
