Navy Blue Buttonhole Flash Dress With Red Accents - 1950s - Bust 96 cm
Mid calf length navy blue dress has a straight cross over front skirt which flicks aside to show a fabulous red satin lining when you walk or sit. There are three peek-a-boo decorative buttonholes below the waist at the flap which give a sneak preview of the red surprise beneath. The dress has a high V neckline and pointed notched collar above a bow which also flashes glimpses of the red satin. It has a magyar bodice - the bodice and three-quarter sleeves with cuffs are cut in one piece. There is one diagonal pocket. Closes at the side with a metal zipper. The fabric is a lovely synthetic, most likely rayon, which has a texture like grosgrain, but is light and drapey. There are shoulder pads. No tags, a custom made garment - 1950s.
Bust 96 cm (38")
Waist 81 cm (32")
Hips 101 cm (40")
Shoulder to waist 43 cm (17")

Very good. There is one 2 mm hole in the lower front of the skirt which is not at all noticeable.
