Antique, Edwardian cotton batiste blouse with lavish lace trim. This blouse has a slight dropped shoulder. It has a high, V neck, three-quarter sleeves and is trimmed with wide cotton lace. The waist is gathered into a narrow band trimmed with fine lace. A ruffle is gathered into the lower band. Closes at the back with tiny, lace covered button and miniature hooks and eyes. You will need a friend to fasten the back of this blouse for you, unless, like the original owner, you have a lady's maid!
The fabric has a a pattern in the weave and is semi-sheer.

- Sleeve 33 cm (13"), including 9cm (3.5") of lace trim.

Condition
Good. No marks. There are 3 small darns in the front and a small patch on the inside, see photo 10.
