Pretty bias cut, shell pink, satin tap pants or French knickers have large panels of lace inserted in the legs and elastic at the waist. Rayon fabric. Brand is Godfried - 1940s or early 1950s.

- Waist measures 56 cm (22"), stretches comfortable to 68 cm (27")
- Hips 79 cm (31") maximum size the waist stretches to for pulling them on. However, you could open one side seam a little and add snaps to close, when they would accommodate hips to 91 cm (36")
- Waist to crotch 42 cm (16.5")
- Length at the side 35.5 cm (14")
Condition
Fair. The elastic is perished in some places. Repairs to the hip seam, waist, and crotch (seam added at centre crotch). There are a number of small holes beneath the waistband, a couple near the leg, a thinning spot and some pin prick sized holes in the crotch.
