1940s Style Pink Floral Silk Dress - 60s does 40s - Bust 96 cm
1940s Style Pink Floral Dress - 60s does 40s
Pretty pink and white floral, below knee length, silk dress is reminiscent of 1940s style, but dates later. The little rounded collar and edges of the short sleeves are bound in the same fabric. The bodice is gathered into the waist of the six gored A-line skirt. Front bodice interest and matching tie. Closes at the side with a nylon zipper. There's a little bit of organdy facing at the back of the neck. Very professionally made home made dress or made by a dressmaker. I suspect it was made from a 1940s pattern, but made in the late 1960s or 1970s.
Bust 96 cm (38")

Excellent. One or two very faint marks barely noticeable in the busy floral design, see last photo.
