Very sweet ivory half petticoat skirt has an embroidered pink butterfly appliqued on one hip.
Knee length petticoat is on a waistband and yoke. The hip yoke is a heavy figured rayon. The deep skirt ruffle is a more lightweight rayon. Closes on one side with a button and two snaps. There are no tags, it appears to be homemade. Late 1940s- early 1950s.

Condition
Good. I have added some vertical darts to the back of the skirt to hide some holes. There are a number of small holes which I have left alone. Some very faint yellowish marbling which you may notice in bright light.
