Beautiful silk cocktail or dance dress is a metallic old gold on a pinky mushroom ground. It has a shaped waistline, coming to a V point at the front and back and trimmed with piping. Ruffle all round at the top. Closes at the side with a metal zip. Self lined bodice. No label, a custom made dress -1950s.

Condition
Good. The shoulder straps have been repaired and there is a seam in each. Fortunately, I was able to let some more length into the straps so that they remain the original length. There is a 6 mm brown mark near the lower front of the bodice, as shown. There are a few marks on the skirt, including some water marks near the hem, but none are noticeable. There is a small frayed patch on the ruffle beneath one arm.
