Antique, Edwardian, White Shirt With Band Collar & Detachable Buttons
Antique woman's linen shirt has a band collar with holes for attaching a collar if desired. There is a wide tuck in each shoulder which adds fullness for the bust, and a narrow tuck either side of the front band. There are no buttons, and I am including three detachable pearl buttons with the shirt, as well as a pearl collar button. You will need cuff links. There is an attached tie at the back waist which ties at the front. No labels. Edwardian - 1900s-1910s.
Medium to Large
Fits bust 96-101 cm (38-40")
Waist is full to 112 (44")
Shoulders 38.5 cm (15.25")
Back 37 cm (14.5")
Sleeve 56 cm (22")
Neck 33 cm (13")
Length at the back 47.5 cm (18.75")
Good. There is a tiny rust spot on the back of one sleeve, a couple of small holes, and the seams are worn in some parts. The back tie has been unpicked and moved and you can see where it was originally stitched. The collar button fastening is a little loose.
