Antique, Victorian, ankle length white petticoat skirt has a deep border of broderie anglaise or eyelet lace fixed over the bottom, so there is another layer of fabric beneath the hem. At the top of the hem there is a horizontal tuck and beneath that, a strip of narrow eyelet trim, probably covering a seam or a stitch hole line. The waist is on a drawstring running through a tape casing. There's an opening at the back below the tie and I've added two press studs so that it doesn't gape. Fabric is cotton. It's a homemade garment - 1800s.
Antique camisole sold separately.
