Very high waisted black wool pants, once part of a dinner suit. Pants have a braided side stripe and adjust at the waist with tabs and buckles at the sides. The front has two pleats at each side and there is a wide overlap tab to button at the front waist. The legs are very wide. There is a buttoning fly, a coin pocket at the front, two side seam pockets and one rear pocket. Buttons at the inside waist for attaching braces. Pants are faced with silk twill at the waist. There are leather kick strips at the inside bottom leg. No labels - 1940s.
