Cobalt blue artificial silk (rayon) dressing gown has contrasting grey collar and cuffs with Chinese style embroidery worked with couched gold and red thread depicting a dragon. Two patch pockets and a breast pocket, each trimmed with twisted cord, which also trims the collar. It has a blue and white twisted cord tie with tassels. Lined in white. Made in Japan. 1950s-1960s.

Condition
Fairly good and presents well. There is some color run around the embroidery. Also, a few small holes, some larger holes in the lining, some age spots near the hem and lower front under lap and a mark on the back of one sleeve.
