The front edge is also lace trimmed and there is no closure. Made from a single layer of very sheer nylon. Made in the USA for Val Mode - 1960s.

1960s Sheer White Peignoir, Robe, With Lacy Sleeves by Val Mode - M — $120
Ankle length or maxi nightgown. It's made from a beautiful fabric which is white and blue floral, with the blue parts being semi sheer. The deep V neckline falls to beneath the bust and is trimmed with wide white lace. The same lace trims the cap sleeves and is hreaded through with blue ribbon. The gown is gathered beneath the bust with elastic, and trimmed at the under bust with lace and blue ribbon finishing in a bow. Fabric is a polyester cotton blend. Made in Australia for Elle - 1980s.

Sweet pair of sheer white lacy panties, would probably have been part of a pyjama set. High rise panties are lavishly trimed with wide lace and finished with a satin bow and blue ribbon rosette at the front. The front is a double layer of nylon, the back has a single layer. No cotton gusset. There are no tags. Judging by the type of ribbon used, I would say these are a reproduction in 1960s style made some years later, probably 1990s. Medium

Above-knee length robe has sleeves and hem trimmed with white lace. Little lace bows are pinned onto the sleeves. The elastic in the short sleeves has stretched so that they are now full. The scooped neckline is bound and the robe closes at the front with a press stud at the neck and three buttons beneath. The robe is made from two layers of sheer nylon. Brand is Miss Elaine. Late 1960s or early 1970s. Small.
