Maroon silk tie with black and white stripes is woven with a ribbed texture. Unlined, labelled wool lined - that lining is inside the closed part of the tie past the label and gives the tie stability. Brand is Beaucaire - 1930s.

Fair. There is some fraying at the point where the knot would have been tied, and at the back of the neck. Still good for a few wears yet.
