Ivory rayon taffeta slip worn as a gown has V neck, empire waist and side snap closure. The floor length skirt is straight over the hips and has wide pleats at front and back from hips to ankles. The straps are blue and white floral silk organza and no doubt once matched the sheer gown that went over the slip. Ankle length. Custom made, no labels - 1930s.
