Gorgeous ivory prom or party dress flocked with cream, lemon and pink flowers. The wide pink attached cummerbund at the midriff blossoms into a large bow at the rear. The scooped neck and armholes are finished with pink piping - neckline forms a V at the back. The dress is mid-calf length, and has a rayon lining and attached tulle petticoat. Closes at the back with a metal zipper. No tags, but the fabric appears to be an early form of polyester, such as Terylene. The outer shell is sheer but has the lining and petticoat beneath. Custom made dress - 1950s.
