Beautiful little ornamental hostess apron, just what the lady of the house would have worn to protect her frock when serving guests dinner in her home.
The half apron is palest pink sheer cotton organdy. Five ornamental scalloped pockets at the bottom feature white cotton floral motifs. White lacy cotton braid trims the edges as well as the waist. The straps are fixed with a little bow like ruffle. Hand made item - 1950s.

Condition
Very good, does not appear to have been used as the fabric is still quite stiff. There is one tiny spot and two discreet mends on the pocket stitching, as shown.
