Royal blue Crimplene dress and jacket set or ensemble. The knee length shift style dress has decorative cut out work and appliqued lace medallions at the neck. Closes with a metal zipper at the back. Princess darts at the dress front and back provide slight shaping and could be used to slightly reduce or increase the width of the dress. The waist length jacket has three-quarter sleeves. The collar is trimmed with the same cut work and the lace appliques feature again down the front of the scalloped front of the jacket. Closes with a hook and eye. Jacket is lined, dress is unlined. Fabric is Crimplene polyester. Brand is Young Elegante, Sydney - 1960s.
