Fabulous homemade casual dress looks to have been made in the early 1960s from 1950s fabric. And it has pockets!
Below-knee length, shift style, pullover dress has a high V neckline. The fabric features vertical stripes in pink and mustard. The front and back are each cut in one piece, forming cap sleeves. The two front pockets have a V shaped "envelope" trim and are finished with wonderful white vintage buttons etched with flowers. Fabric is a lightweight and very soft cotton, so super cool for summer. While more of a 1960s style pattern, the fabric looks to have a very '50s design.
