Very cute purple, maroon, lurex skirt suit but please read the condition statement below carefully as it has some issues.
The jacket has a wide collar and neck bow trim. Sleeves are bracelet length. Straight, above-knee length skirt closes with a metal zipper in one side. The jacket is lined. The fabric is Lurex. The skirt stretches but the lining prevents the jacket from stretching. Made by Vera Fashions Sydney - 1960s.

Condition
Fair - the skirt has had some alterations. The lining has been removed from the skirt and it's been cut down at the top to fit a larger waist size than the original. Elastic added to the inner waist. It's a bit untidy where it's been altered, but this can't be seen when it's being worn. Some wear to the fabric, especially around the collar edges and bow, and it can appear silvery in places where the purple has worn from the metallic thread. One of the buttons is an odd one.
