Limited edition dress by top '80s designer Nicole Miller.
Black and white striated dress in a fitted style. It has a shawl collar and buttons to the waist. The tapered sleeves are full at the head and are gathered into the strong, slightly dropped shoulder line. The waist has a peplum to the hip, and ties at the back with long ties. The knee length skirt has a shaped hemline, longer at the sides. The back of the skirt is pleated vertically to make it shorter at the centre. The dress is unlined. There were once shoulder pads but these have been removed. Closes with a zip at the back. Fabric is a crepey feel polyester. The tag reads "Limited quantities of this style in this pattern have been made for the United States. This pattern will never be repeated". The best of the 1980s.
