Grey and black striped longline jacket by Australian designer Teena Varigos.
This deep V-necked jacket is truly double-breasted and can be worn buttoned either left over right or right over left. It's below hip length. It has two functional front pockets and a breast pocket. Shoulders are emphasised in true '80s style. The sleeves taper to the wrist. Two button sleeve trim and six button front stance. Fabric has the look of silk but is actually polyester - no fabric labels. Teena Varigos - 1980s.
Measurements
Marked Small but measures Medium. Please check the measurements.
- Tag says fits bust 80 cm (31.5"), this gives an oversized '80s look. It measures larger, 48 cm (19") straight across flat at the underarm. Would fit up to 92 cm (36") for a more fitted look. The mannequin has bust 87 cm (34") and it's roomy on her.
- Waist to 76 cm (30") allowing for clothes underneath.

Condition
Fair condition. Presents well. Several brown age marks on one sleeve, like the mark shown in the photo. A brown mark on the front, as shown, looks like coffee, but if you wear it buttoned right over left it's hidden underneath. I have not attempted to remove the marks. The sleeve buttons have dents in them. In addition, it's producing some red dust, seems to be coming from between the seams of the lining, probably a backing on the fabric is deteriorating. You will need to give it a good shake outside before wearing. Condition is reflected in the price.
