Antique, Edwardian full-length white cotton nightgown has a square yoke of beautiful broderie anglaise or eyelet fabric. The long sleeves are gathered to the wrist - there's no elastic. The high neck and sleeves are trimmed with cotton lace. A ribbon could be threaded through the eyelets at the neckline if desired. The underarms have gussets. Opens to the waist at the front and buttons with linen buttons beneath a placket. It's gathered to a yoke across the back. No label, likely homemade. 1900s-1910s.

Fair. There are two small patches in the front, one at an underarm and some small holes. A black mark, looks like ink, on the upper back, a couple of very faint yellowish marks.
