Antique white cotton nightgown.
The gown has a large pointed collar, square at the back. The front has pintucks and inserted broderie anglaise (eyelet) trim. Back is gathered to a yoke and it has a dropped shoulder. Long sleeves and the collar are also trimmed with broderie anglaise. Opens at the front to beneath the bust and closes beneath a placket with shell buttons. Ankle length. No tags, it's a homemade or custom made garment. 1910s-1920s.

It's a very full style. You might want to add a belt if you wear it as a dress.

Condition
Good. Some white marks at the waist. A few tiny spots and pin prick sized holes. A small mend in the band above one button, not visible when buttoned.
