Antique white cotton nightgown makes a cool and feminine summer maxi dress.
Ankle length gown has a square neckline and elbow length sleeves all cut in one piece, and is trimmed at the front and sleeves with bobbin lace. The same cotton lace has been inserted below the neckline at front and back as well as at the shoulders. Some pintucks are the only obvious difference between front and back. Fabric is white cotton, with cotton lace. It's a custom made or homemade garment. It bears the name of a former owner on a tag inside what was probably the front because it features the pin tucks. You'll likely want to wear the tag at the back. 1910s-early 1920s.

Size - Approximately Large, but please check the measurements.
- Bust 102 cm (40"), measures 60 cm (23.5") measured straight across flat at the underarm, but you need to allow for pulling it on over your head.
- Hips to 112 cm (44"), measures 61 cm (24") straight across flat
- Length 135 cm (53")
Condition
Good. A few small marks on one shoulder, as shown. The name tag, which appears to be the original one, has been sewn inside the front neck. You could remove it, or wear it back to front as there is very little difference.
