Black and red striped bow tie and pocket square set.
Small bow tie has adjustable strap closing with a hook and thread loops. The strap folds back on itself to make the large loop for the initial closure. The fabric is a crepe type synthetic, probably rayon. No labels, it appears to have been custom made. 1950s-1960s.
Measurements
- Bow width 9.5 cm (3.5")
- Blade width 4.5 cm (1.75")
- Neck adjusts to measure 40-43 cm (16-17"). Or add another loop either end.
- Pocket square is 29 x 32 cm (11.5 x 12.5")
Condition
Good. One of the bow loops has been made slightly smaller than the others. The pocket square has a few small marks and a couple of pin prick sized holes. None of these will be seen in your pocket.
