Below-knee to mid-calf length, black cotton velveteen dress. The dress has a very wide, shaped, scooped neckline, skirt gathered to the waist and trimmed with piping and a lined bodice. Closes at the side with a metal zipper. No label, likely custom made. Late 1950s-1960s.

Condition
Fair. There are two 5-6 cm repairs at the front armhole edge which look and act like bust darts. Also a small 2 cm repair to one back armhole. Velvet is in good condition.
