A lovely abstract print in purple, yellow, orange and green makes this dress special.
Beautiful maxi length dress has puff sleeves and a high square neckline. There's an 11 cm (4.25") panel of shirred elastic gathering beneath the bust, ending in a ruffled edge at the waist. Shirring elastic has also been used to gather the sleeve edge. Lined with yellow rayon fabric. Closes with one button and loop at the top of a 21 cm (8.5") slit in the back bodice. It's a well made homemade dress, so there are no labels. The fabric is most likely a polyester georgette. Late 1960s or early '70s.
