Long half petticoat has the boho look of an antique petticoat although I believe it was made later.
Lower-calf length petticoat is gathered to a waistband and has a 9.5 cm (3.75") hem ruffle with spoke stitched edge. It closes at the back with two linen buttons and has hand stitched buttonholes. It's handmade with rayon, I did a burn test, but looks and feels like polished cotton. Research indicates that this fabric wasn't in use until the 1930s. Possibly 1940s-1950s, perhaps for wear beneath a long evening skirt.
Antique top has been sold.
