Three Vintage Handkerchiefs

Three vintage handkerchiefs - two have lace edging and one is a beautiful old hand worked hanky.

Three white cotton handkerchiefs:

1. Hanky 1 has a fine handstitched spokestitch border and pretty cotton lace edging. Measures 24 x 24 cm (9.5"). 1950s or 1960s. Excellent condition.

2. Hanky 2 is plain with a cotton lace edging. Measures 24 x 24.5 cm (9.5"). 1960s-1970s. Good condition. There is a flaw in the fabric which would have been there since it was made, as shown.

3. Beautiful and very old handmade handkerchief has a scalloped drawn thread edging and features drawn thread work and fine white embroidery in one corner. This hanky is the very finest cotton batiste fabric, it would have been so difficult to work on it. First half of the 20th century. Unfortunately, it has two holes, but still lovely.
