Beautiful late '40s-early '50s evening gown is lemon rayon damask. This gown has a fitted bodice and a very full skirt with two large inverted pleats front and back, keeping the fullness of the skirt out of the waistline. It has a V neckline, higher at the back, and a separate midriff panel. There are inverted pleats over the shoulder and armhole and piping around the waist. The dress closes at the side with a metal zipper and two hooks and loops. The colour is more of a pale yellow than I can get to show up in the photos. There are no tags, a custom made garment. Late 1940s-early 1950s.

Condition
Very good. There are a few small spots near the hem at the back, and a couple hidden in the folds on the back of the skirt, see photos.
