Pretty cream crepe blouse has cap sleeves and a dainty cotton lace bib front and collar. Tiny pearl bead buttons trim the front. The blouse is open beneath the bib as it was designed to be worn with very high-waisted skirts and this part would have been tucked in. The lower part has tucks to reduce fullness at the waist. A hook and eye or two could be added to close the lower front if desired. The sleeves have turned back bands and there are small shoulder pads. The fabric is rayon crepe. No brand label. 1940s-1950s.

Condition
Fair and wearable. There are a lot of tiny holes like those shown in the photo. Discoloration to the lace at the back of the neck. A large mark at the lower front, as shown.
