A-line half petticoat for wearing beneath a mid-calf length dress or skirt. The hem features a deep double ruffle of broderie anglaise or eyelet trim. The top tier is threaded through with blue ribbon and two bows. The trim is scooped at the front. The waist is on elastic. Fabric and trim are cotton, the ribbon is the original rayon ribbon. Brand is Celestial Lingerie - 1950s.

Condition
Good. There are two small spots on the lower front just above the trim, as shown. There are two breaks in the ribbon where it has frayed but I have tacked it in place so that the rest of the ribbon still looks good. Some faint yellowish marks near the hem.
