Cream cotton and elastic bra features the famous Playtex "cross-your-heart" technology, designed to "lift and separate", according to the old advertising campaign. The cups are cotton, covered at the top with synthetic lace. Wide straps are adjustable with front buckles. Sides and back are elastic. The brand Playtex is barely visible on the tag. 1960s-1970s.
Measurements
Unfortunately the size is not legible on the faded tag, so please check the measurements against a bra of your own.
- Cup size estimated as D. Centre seam of cup measures 23 cm (9")
- Underbust 79-82 cm (31-32.25"), however the elastic does not have a tight stretch, so size down.
Condition
Fair. The elastic at the sides, back and underbust has a loose stretch and may not fit tightly enough to give you support. Best used for pinup shoots or for costumes.
