Look like a galaxy in this star studded velvet jacket - very sparkly.
Fancy black velvet evening jacket studded all over with diamante specks and trimmed with diamante buttons. Two slit pockets at the front. Has shoulder pads and is fully lined. The velvet is 60% viscose (rayon) and 40% cotton. Made in Italy for Piero de Monzi. They had a shop in London and Princess Diana often wore their fashions. 1980s.

Condition
Good. I had examined it three times before I noticed that there is a faint mark on the lapel and a small white fleck (1 cm) below one pocket. I have not attempted to remove these marks - eek, velvet!
