New old stock - Beautiful aqua babydoll pyjamas; perfect for pinup photo shoots.
Babydoll pyjamas have a round yoke ornamented with overlaid net embroidered with pink flowers. Yoke is bordered with white lace and trimmed with a ribbon bow. The armholes, leg holes and hem are bordered with narrower lace. Panties are a full, high waisted bloomer style with elastic at the waist. Fabric is opaque "bri-nylon batiste", which has a slight sheen. Tag reads "For Cool Comfort - Bri-nylon Batiste is a new concept in nylon. Cooler, lighter and more absorbent than ordinary batiste with the added advantage of being easy to wash." Designed and created by AP Lingerie - Melbourne (or "Aypi" as it says on the garment tags). 1960s.
